INSPIRATION

Fashion is versatile with endless possibilities. Since my graduation at the Artez fashion academie Arnhem, in the summer of 2003,
I have been designing collections for several companies, making trendpresentations for several brands and developing dessins and artworks for various clients. By working for large companies and on the other hand for independent designers I get to work in different atmospheres and situations with different people who have various needs. This way I have been able to develop myself into a versatile designer.
On the other hand I have been developing my own accessories under the label Anne Irene. This way I can combine all my interests in fabrics, colors, dessins and accessories in one product.
The diversity in these different design assignments and my own indepent designs influence eachother in a positive way. Trend presentations work as an inspiration source for the Anne Irene accessorie label. But also, these trends work as an inspiration and basis to develop collections and prints for various clients. The materials and colours I use in my own accessorie design can be translated into unique new dessins and artworks. These dessins are also connected to the bigger context of a larger fashion collection. All these pieces of the puzzle give me the opportunity to work diverse and to get inspired by all these facets of fashion.
